They’ve taken their new CR-V 1.6i-DTEC – which has official economy of 62.8 mpg – out on a mission to prove it can do even more miles to the gallon in the real world than in official tests.

What on earth is a MINI Canyon, I hear you ask? You’ll be shocked to know it’s yet another iteration of the ubiquitous MINI, and it’s due to hit our roads in 2012 if the rumours Auto Express are pushing are to be believed. Audi looks set to complete its purchase of superbike maker Ducati as early as next week, according to Reuters. The news wire reports the deal could be finalised by 18 April 2012, the day before VW's annual shareholders meeting in Hamburg. Audi has been undertaking due diligence on the purchase of Ducati and the bean counters are reporting no obstacles to the deal.
